Gottlos

Von Gott los, sind wir führerlos,
und darum irren wir ziellos
und verrennen uns oft ausweglos,
bis wir merken: Es ist alles sinnlos.

Von Gott los, sind wir haltlos,
in unseren Leidenschaften hemmungslos,
im Lebenskampf lieblos
und im Sterben hoffnungslos.

Von Gott los, sind wir ratlos,
in vielen Situationen machtlos.
Wie oft liegen wir am Boden und sind kraftlos.
Alles ödet uns an, wir sind freudlos;
hilflos sind wir und oft mutlos.

In allem hin- und hergerissen werden wir friedelos
- und warum? Weil wir gott-los sind,
und wir kommen doch nicht los von Gott.
